Water Recreation in the Sierra Nevada
The Sierra Nevada mountains and foothills provide numerous lakes, streams, and rivers providing opportunities for a myriad of fishing, boating, swimming and other water recreational experiences. There are several rivers that offer exciting rafting trips. In the high Sierra there are pristine mountain lakes that have great fishing and accommodate a variety of boating activities.
