With a base at 7800', Kirkwood has the highest starting point of any resort in the Lake Tahoe area. It is said that Kirkwood catches the best snowstorms coming across the Sierra, which accounts for its 638” of powder annually. Here you will find a destination resort with everything from lodging to dog sled rides. Family fun as well as challenging terrain will keep everyone smiling.
