Boating in the Sierra Nevada
The Sierra Nevada mountains and foothills provide numerous lakes, streams, and rivers providing opportunities for a myriad of boating experience. There are several rivers that offer exciting rafting trips. In the high Sierra there are pristine mountain lakes that have great fishing and accommodate a variety of boating activities.
Along the foothill regions mountain river water provide water for numerous reservoirs that are great for boating, fishing, water skiing, and swimming.
